Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This page explains what information WTV collects, what it is used for, and what control you have over it. It is written to be readable rather than to be impressive.

The short version

WTV has no accounts and asks you for nothing. Your game history is stored in your own browser and never sent to us. The site does use Google AdSense to show adverts and YouTube to play videos, and both of those are third parties who set cookies and collect data of their own. The detail is below.

Who runs this site

WTV is operated by Morning Sun Games, an independent game developer based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, use the contact page.

Information stored in your browser

WTV uses your browser's local storage to remember things between visits. This is not sent anywhere. It sits on your device and only this site can read it. It holds:

You can wipe all of this at any time by using the reset option in the statistics screen, or by clearing your browser's site data. If you do, it is gone permanently, including your streak. We hold no copy, so we cannot restore it for you.

Advertising

WTV uses Google AdSense to display adverts. This is what pays for the site.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve adverts based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve adverts to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You have real choices here:

Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove adverts from the site. It means the adverts you see are less tailored to you.

Consent for visitors in the UK and Europe

If you are visiting from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you will have been shown a consent message before adverts loaded, asking what you are willing to allow. That message is provided by a Google-certified consent management platform operating under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

Your answer is respected and remembered, and you can change your mind at any time using the privacy or consent option provided in that message.

YouTube videos

WTV uses YouTube API Services to play videos. Videos are not hosted here. They play through YouTube's own embedded player, which means YouTube itself is involved every time you play a round.

When the player loads, some basic information is shared with YouTube so it can render the video, work out whether it is playable in your country, and guard against abuse. Further data is collected and shared once playback actually begins, which YouTube uses to customise the player across its services.

By using WTV you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service. How Google handles the data collected through the embedded player is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

WTV does not ask you to sign into YouTube or a Google account, does not request access to any YouTube account you may have, and never sees or stores any YouTube login details.

Analytics

Basic, anonymised traffic measurement may be used to understand how many people are visiting and which pages they reach. This is aggregate information about traffic patterns and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.

Children

WTV is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please get in touch and it will be removed.

Your rights

Because WTV holds no account and stores nothing about you on any server, most data requests have a simple answer: we do not have anything to give you or delete, and the data that exists is in your own browser under your own control.

For data held by Google as a result of advertising or the YouTube player, the relevant rights are exercised through Google using the links above, since Google is the party holding that data.

If you are in the UK or the EEA you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR respectively, including rights of access, correction and erasure. If you want to exercise any of these in relation to this site, use the contact page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
